Networking Activity Report:

The impact of our networking activity turned out to be excellent for the participants, all of whom said they were better equipped to defend their projects after the training and many of whom found a producer. This initiative allowed us to respond to a need expressed by the directors (lack of professional opportunities), to develop new expertise and to broaden the network of RWs as there was a great diversity of backgrounds, ages and approaches among the candidates.

Thanks to our Partners

The writers/directors of these high quality original projects received pitch training thanks to the partnership between RÉ and Makila, two organizations dedicated to supporting and professionalizing underrepresented creators.

A big thank you to Rendez-Vous Québec Cinéma for hosting this event and another big thank you to the Conseil des arts de Montréal and the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec!
