Check out our beautiful short animated video where we showcase the importance of statistics in the fight to achieve parity for women directors.

For those who missed it, here is the video of the launch of our dynamic statistical site hosted by the talented and hilarious Catherine Ethier!

Since 2007, Réalisatrices Équitables has been compiling and analyzing statistics in order to change attitudes within our film industry to make it a balanced environment. While the most recent data are encouraging, the gains remain fragile. This is why the organization maintains its vigilance and continues its awareness raising work.

"We wanted to present our figures in an animated form, to make people want to consult them, but also to put these statistics in context while creating a pleasant experience in which we like to navigate"
explains Anik Salas, president of Réalisatrices Équitables.

Réalisatrices Équitables thus offers a new web-based data visualization tool, transforming its statistics into attractive and more digestible visual elements. This new micro-site combines information while sharing it in a user-friendly and efficient manner. With its graphic animations, it offers at a glance explanations that count on the issues of parity.

A very big thank you to our partners and volunteers, who make our statistical site "The part of women directors" possible.

Many thanks to the Société de développement des entreprises cultures du Québec (SODEC), thanks to which Dames des Vues REMIX has been made possible. We also thank Telefilm Canada and the Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM). For their support for the mission of Réalisatrices Équitables, a big thank you to the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ) and to the CAM. We would also like to thank all the volunteers who are members of Réalisatrices Équitables for their unwavering support, as well as the Association des Réalisateurs et Réalisatrices du Québec (ARRQ).
