Capturing both the runners’ preparation in Quebec and their participation in the race overseas, the film reveals the mutual support and resilience that the team must demonstrate.

Although she looks like a human being, this AI embodies revolutionary augmented reality technology. Throughout the trilogy, Anna searches for her “creator.” Directed by Katherine Ouimet: The prologue (2 min) goes back to 2019: Anna first appears as a rudimentary AR (Augmented Reality) application, an astrological oracle. This primitive version is the starting point for her evolution into the conscious hologram of 2035.

The film follows the fifth edition of the Afropolitan Nomad Festival, held in Dakar in July 2018, a space of dialogue and encounters where boundaries dissolve in favor of intercultural exchange and living together, through the gaze of filmmaker Alunaya.
