Catherine and her younger sister Julie spend their summer vacation at the seaside in an enchanting setting. Yet Catherine feels persistent discomfort as soon as she is in the presence of her father. Five years ago, André started an incestuous relationship with her that weighs on her, but she can not stop it.
In front of his repeated refusals, André approaches Julie. Catherine has only doubts until the day her mother surprises André and Julie in the act.
Smothered by the closed doors that her family has become, Catherine takes refuge in silence.
