Ithaque takes its inspiration from Cavafy’s poem Ithaca. The poem, voiced over in its original Greek language, evokes the return of Ulysses’ to the island where he was born. A man is on a long train journey. The landscape streams by as well as different moments of his life, with no chronology. Dream and reality are intermingled, Ulysses’ journey as well as his own physical and interior journey.
