BIOGRAPHY

Originally from Lebanon and living in Quebec for nearly 50 years, I am a singer, actress, and more recently, a producer. I am a member of the Union des artistes and ACTRA.

My desire to build bridges between cultures through music was born at Cégep Marie-Victorin, where I created a show featuring Arabic songs translated and narrated in French, accompanied by Middle Eastern musicians. Since 2018, I have led the project Altérités et partages with the group Voix et musique du Moyen-Orient, centered around the song L’Autre — an anthem to cultural rapprochement translated into several languages, including Arabic.

As an actress, I have appeared in films, web series, music videos, and commercials, including La face cachée du baklava, Les Saturnides, Dominos 1 and 2, and campaigns for REM, Toyota, Brunet, Health Canada, and La Presse.

During the pandemic, I turned to screenwriting and directing. In 2023, I directed the short documentary Fairy Fingers, supported by a CALQ grant. In 2026, I completed writing my second short fiction film and am now entering its production phase.
