BIOGRAPHY

Illustrator and filmmaker, Sandrine Corbeil graduated from L’Inis in documentary cinema (profile directing) after studying political science and law. Openly camped on the left, she is happiest when her work makes sense.

Her works have received some recognition. Her documentary short film De papier et de plomb received the Young Director Prize at the International Festival International du Film sur les Métiers d’Art (FIFMA) in Paris in 2018. In 2016, her sound creation À l’ami lointain vieillissant received a Special Mention at the Le réel à l’écoute in partnership with the Rencontres internationales du documentaire de Montréal (RIDM).
