BIOGRAPHY

Marlene Edoyan is a documentary filmmaker and producer based in Montreal. Trained in media studies, Marlene began her career as a production manager and art director for internationally co-produced animated children’s films and television series. For the past fourteen years, Marlene has worked in the Canadian film and television industry, collaborating with award-winning filmmakers and producers to create socio-political documentaries. To pursue her keen interest in the notion of human geography and the relationships between societies and space, Marlene founded Fauve Film in 2012. She directs and produces auteur documentaries, including Figure of Armen (2012) and The Sea Between Us (2019).
