BIOGRAPHY
Born in Baie-Comeau, Manon Cousin is a photographer, producer and director based in Montreal. In the 90’s, she traveled around Asia and settled in China for 4 years. It was there that she learned Mandarin and completed several photographic projects. Her work has been exhibited in several galleries and museums in Canada and the United States. She is currently developing a documentary on the photographer Sam Tata, who photographed the 1940’s communist takeover of Shanghai and the Indian independence movement in Bombay. Les Fils is her first documentary film.
