BIOGRAPHY
Audreyanne Fauchon is an emerging filmmaker from Quebec City. After graduating from Cégep Sainte-Foy with a degree in cinema, she went on to complete a certificate in film at Université Laval. Scriptwriting and directing having always been part of her interests, she made her first short film, 780 pieds carrés (780 square feet), which received a special mention at the ARFF Paris 2023 and a nomination at the Toronto Indie Short. After a few years working on various sets, she returned to writing and directed Citron ensoleillé (Sunny lemon), a hard-hitting, highly personal project about mental health. Citron ensoleillé is currently in post-production and will be sent to festivals in spring 2025. For Audreyanne, making films that reflect her values is very important. She tackles issues such as feminism, equity, mental health and sexuality, but also lets her strong emotions sail her ship. Nostalgia, rage, passion and love are at the heart of her creations.
