On Thursday, December 11, 2008, Catherine Daviau was raped and murdered in her home in Montreal’s quiet Rosemont neighborhood in Montreal. Before fleeing, the murderer attempted to burn her body. Neighbors were alerted by the fire raging in the ground-floor apartment. Thirteen years later, her murderer is still at large.
