Considered one of the founding fathers of Quebec cinema and a master of cinéma direct, Michel Brault has left an indelible mark on several generations of film lovers and inspired countless filmmakers and cinematographers. This film by Sarah Fortin and Geneviève Perron was produced in response to a call for submissions issued by the Rendez-vous du cinéma québécois and was screened during the festival’s 32nd edition in February 2014. It pays tribute to the work of this giant of our cinema.
