In 2022, the U.S. Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, which had legalized abortion in the U.S. since 1973. This legal setback reinforced the convictions of the leaders of pro-life organizations and their hundreds of thousands of supporters, many of them very young. Highly funded, well-structured and skilled communicators, these groups represent a growing threat to American women’s right to control their own bodies. To get a better idea of the scale of the situation, the director set out to meet them in the USA and Canada.
