The dreamlike view of a traditional Quebec music session makes Faces de jam an experience for all the senses. From the outside, the jam circle is a whole. From the inside, it is a creator of interactions between memory, learning and interpretation. Like an experimental painting, this film quietly harmonises in colour and nuance a sum of individuals, instruments and pieces.
