Twenty-six runners are committed to carrying Samuel, who suffers from Louis-Bar syndrome, on one of the world’s toughest ultra-trail races: the Diagonale des fous of Reunion Island. This Quebec team, many of whose members also have physical limitations, is the first from North America to tackle this challenge. Capturing both the runners’ preparation in Quebec and their participation in the race overseas, the film reveals the mutual support and resilience that the team must demonstrate.
