BIOGRAPHY
Originally from Quebec, Sara is a director, a writer and an actress. Her passion for embodying characters brought her to travel to Saint-Hyacinthe, Montreal, New York and Winnipeg where she studied method acting as well as movement and mime, working with a diversity of beautiful teams for TV and theatres. One morning she woke up with an urge to tell a story, and the flow of words never stopped pouring out of her fingers.
Hatredless (Best score/Soundtrack, nominee for Best Ecological Vocation Film) and Cyborg Inc. are her latest creations as director and writer. In 2026, she directed Le banc (The Bench) by Benoît Prévost, Le cordonnier et son apprenti (The shoemaker and his apprentice) for Gabriel Aubry and NTD Vital and co-wrote Les parents (The parents) with Sami Filali. She is also working on the screenplay of her first feature film. In 2025, she directed L’autre (The Other One) for Thesée Productions in Toronto, also co-directed an hospital-theme web serie and wrote a commissioned short film Cold Frontier for Alex Lauzon.
When she is not on set or typing stories, she practices Falun Dafa, hike mountains or care for others.
