How do you love your child born of sexual assault? How do you protect them from their violent parent? How do you live with the fact that you were born of rape?

This five-part audio documentary is the fragmented story of five women. You will hear the testimonies of mothers who struggle daily to protect their children from their attacker. You will also hear the stories of women—children and mothers—who fought to be heard by a justice system that never received a hearing.

In 2023, the Ministry of Justice estimated that 170 children were born of rape each year in Quebec. This audio documentary, without narration, aims to give voice to the children and mothers affected, with a view to regaining their power.
