BIOGRAPHY

At the age of seventeen, she began her career as an intervalist for a TV series. In 1956, she joined Belvision, where she was initially assigned to the same job. She soon worked as an animator on the feature film Pinocchio in Space for two years. In 1962, she joined CETECT, a TV film production company. She stayed with the company for five years, during which time she was assigned to animate systems for the Mole Atomic Center, advertising cards, films on Grandpa’s mathematics, the solar system, etc. Before leaving Belgium for Montreal, she illustrated a children’s book and, in 1967, joined the NFB. She collaborated on several educational and other films, before moving on to directing.
