Le dernier Nataq

As a writer and director from Rouyn-Noranda, in this very personal documentary I seek to understand the spirit of the place that gave birth to Richard Desjardins’ poetry. The creation of a mural in his honour in the summer of 2018 becomes a pretext to meet the Rouyn poet and return to the sources of his creation. He went back over his films, telling us, among other things, how difficult it was for him to deal with the backlash from the release of L’Erreur Boréale. Twenty years after this hard-hitting film, he shares his thoughts on major environmental issues.
