Le voyage du soldat

In 1956, a young man is called to Algeria, not knowing what awaits him. Through letters sent to his brother who stayed in France, the young soldier tells fragments of the war. The soldier’s journey is a poetic essay whose innovative and personal form explores snapshots of this nameless war and mixes a family’s archival footage with fiction.
