BIOGRAPHY

Izabel Grondin’s short films were screened across the world and amassed numerous awards over the years. In 2004 she released the first short horror-fantastic films compilation coming from Quebec: Folies passagères: contes trash et sournois (aka Temporary Madness: Trash and Insidious Tales). Her latest short The Table was finalist at the Jutra in 2014.

In 2015, she launched a 2nd compilation: Folies passagères: contes troubles et déviants (aka Temporary Madness: Murky and Deviant Tales). The FCVQ and Fantasia International Films Festival paid tribute to her work and contribution to Quebecer Cinema. Her 1st feature film, Les oubliés (The Forgotten) is currently in financing process. She’s also a grant holder From La Sodec to write her 2nd feature, Hors-Piste (Off Road).
